We said goodbye today to our first volunteers, Helen and Pepe, as they’re heading back to Scotland (coincidently).
It’s been a lot of fun as well as a lot of very hard work which Helen did the lion’s share of (on account of me putting myself out of action), so I’d like to say a very BIG thank you to Helen for going well above and beyond the call of volunteering duty.
We won’t forget Pepe either, with her awesomely intelligent multi-tasking abilities. Aside from giving all passing strangers a thorough woofing, tirelessly standing guard over the quinta and fetching and carrying fircones, she even managed to combine solar power generation with weed suppression duties.
